A Discovery Flight is the perfect first step into the exciting world of aviation. Whether you’re just curious about what it’s like to fly a small airplane, earning a private certificate, or have the goal of a lifelong aviation career…a discovery flight at Sky Chiefs Aviation will introduce you to all the thrills aviation has to offer.  Check out the view from above and gain a new perspective of the lay of the land.  

Before the flight, you’ll be briefed on what to expect and how to preflight an airplane.   You will be seated in the “Captain’s” seat.  After taxi, takeoff and reaching a safe altitude, if you’re up for it, your experienced Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), will demonstrate the basics and allow you to manipulate the controls while coaching you. Wow, you’re flying!  

That’s right!   You will have the opportunity to fly the Cessna 152 or the Cessna 172 under the direct supervision of your experienced CFI – pretty awesome. The flight is about 25-30 minutes.
